Yoga
Yoga therapy is the application of yoga practices to support physical, mental, and emotional health. Unlike a general yoga class, it is personalized and designed to address specific health concerns using movement, breathwork, meditation, and lifestyle guidance.
It integrates traditional yoga principles (from texts like the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali) with modern medical understanding.
Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic treatment (or naturopathy) is a form of complementary medicine that focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. It combines modern health knowledge with traditional and natural therapies.

Born in rural, southern Manitoba, Andrea’s interest in the healing arts began early in life. With a mother who had worked as a nurse before having children, and a grandmother who worked with herbal remedies, reflexology and massage, Andrea learned the importance of blending traditional and alternative therapies with modern medicine and procedures for the best overall care. Andrea began studying reflexology in 2007, followed by aromatherapy and massage. By 2011, she was working full time in the spa industry and loving making a genuine difference in people’s lives. Later that year, she opened a mobile clinic to provide accessible services to those with mobility issues. Her practice is supported by extensive postgraduate training, including certifications in Dry Needling, Vestibular Therapy, and TMJ Therapy. Having lived with fibromyalgia for nearly two decades, Ayesha brings a deeply personal understanding to pain management. This lived experience has shaped her empathetic approach and strengthened her belief that a physiotherapist’s most effective tools are skilled hands and a strong foundation in anatomy. Mr. Jungbyung (Jacob) Ryu Acupuncturist
My healing journey began with a genuine curiosity about the ancient wisdom of Far East Asia. What started as a simple fascination soon grew into a lifelong passion for learning, sharing, and helping others feel their best. Years ago, I immersed myself in ancient philosophies and quickly realized how meaningful this path felt tome. During the day, I shared what I was learning with university students, and in my spare time, I volunteered by providing acupuncture treatments. Giving back and supporting others felt completely natural. This journey has taken me from the vibrant streets of Seoul to the peaceful landscapes of Canada, allowing me to gather knowledge and life experiences along the way. I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, and before long, this passion became my full-time calling. Today, I use a variety of approaches to support healing and overall well-being. Acupuncture is just the beginning. I also offer moxibustion, Tuina massage, cupping, and Gua Sha, along with customized herbal remedies and guided healing meditations. At times, I even weave in insights from martial arts when it feels appropriate. Whether someone is dealing with a lingering cold, chronic tension, or everyday stress, I always focus on caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Recently, I’ve been diving deeper into wellness, detoxification, and metabolic health. It’s been exciting to discover new ways to support energy, mental clarity, and the sense of vitality we all want more of. When I’m not in practice, you’ll often find me enjoying a good cup of tea—Pu-erh or Oolong, and so on—or walking in nature and appreciating the calm rhythm of the outdoors. If you’re curious about how traditional healing might support your own wellness journey, I’d love to connect. Let’s explore what feeling well can look like for you—together.

The distinction typically comes from the scope of training and the level of medical authority they hold. Manual Osteopaths generally focus on hands-on techniques to treat musculoskeletal pain and improve bodily function. Their training is often centered on osteopathy, which emphasizes manual manipulation of the body’s muscles and joints. They typically do not have the extensive medical education that physicians or surgeons receive. Physicians are licensed medical professionals who can diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, prescribe medications, and perform surgeries. In some countries, Osteopathic Doctors are considered physicians with additional training in osteopathic techniques, which include manual manipulation, but they have completed the same medical education and certification as MDs. Surgeons are a specialized subset of physicians who have received additional training and certification in surgical procedures. Therefore, in many healthcare systems, manual osteopaths are recognized as complementary or alternative healthcare providers rather than as licensed physicians or surgeons.
